Dreamworld have issued a statement on the sudden stop of a roller coaster which trapped passengers for nearly half an hour
A video which was taken earlier today shows footage of the patrons stuck on the ride, which malfunctioned mid-journey.
It has been reported by Channel Nine that the group of people on the ride were left suspended mid-air.
According to The Age, a spokesperson for Dreamworld said one of the safety sensors was triggered which brought the ride to an immediate stop.
ABC on the Gold Coast reported that all passengers are OK.
Last year tragedy struck Dreamworld when the Thunder River Rapids ride apparently malfunctioned, killing four people.
