The due date of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal baby is any day now.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their bub at the end of this month – and fans are in a flurry over what the pair will name their child.

While Meghan is in the final stretch of her highly-anticipated pregnancy, punters are even placing bets on the names most likely to be the top of the list.

According to British betting company Ladbrokes, Elizabeth is the top prediction for the female royal baby name.

The namesake of Queen Elizabeth II, it seems royal punters believe Meghan will pay tribute to Harry’s grandmother for her first child’s name.

In second place is the name Diana, which of course is named after Prince Harry and William’s late mother Lady Diana.

Royal fans clearly predict Harry and Meghan will be having a girl – as the name Victoria is third in line for the crown.

Next on the list includes Albert, Alice, Grace and Philip – the two male names a nod to Queen Victoria’s husband and the Duke of Edinburgh respectively.

Arthur, James and Mary are also in the running, with lesser odds.

Amongst the predictions are a few ridiculous names, such as Barack, Donald and even Brexit

Royal punters have had a good success rate when it comes to predicting royal baby names.

When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their first child, George was the number one pick at the top three betting firms.

While the jury is still out on what Harry and Meghan will name their baby, they won’t be the only ones deciding.

The Duke and Duchess will require Her Majesty’s approval before naming their child and will also take Prince Charles’ opinion into consideration.
