The aftermath of Prince Philip’s horror car crash has taken a strange twist.

Emma Fairweather, a passenger in the other vehicle, has told of the royal family’s bizarre silence following the crash.

Ms Fairweather was in a Kia alongside a 28-year-old female driver and a nine-month-old baby when they were involved in a crash with Prince Philip in Sandringham.

She is now nursing a broken wrist and has angrily spoken out about the royal’s lack of apology.

‘I’m lucky to be alive and he hasn’t even said sorry. It has been such a traumatic and painful time and I would have expected more of the royal family,’ Ms Fairweather told the Sunday Mirror.

‘It would mean the world to me if Prince Philip said sorry but I have no idea if he’s sorry at all.

What would it have taken for him and the Queen to send me a card and a bunch of flowers?’ she added.

Instead, Ms Fairweather received a call from the royal family’s police liaison officer, who delivered a confusing message.

‘The message he passed on didn’t even make sense. He said, “The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh would like to be remembered to you”,’ she said.

‘That’s not an apology or even a well-wish.’

Meanwhile, the Queen attended a church service on Sunday alone, with no sign of Prince Philip in attendance.
