A possible slip of the tongue by Prince Harry has caused the royal rumour mill to go into overdrive that baby Archie was born two weeks ago.
While showing off their newborn baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the world, Harry, 34 and Meghan, 37, looked like any other proud new parents.
But when asked who the little boy resembled, Harry said something that caused Royal enthusiasts to go into a frenzy.
‘Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks,’ commented Harry.
This caused many people on Twitter to theorise that Meghan gave birth two weeks ago and they held off introducing Archie into the world until now.
‘Everyone says the baby has changed so much over two weeks .. wasn’t it born Monday? Omg the panic in their faces lmao he SLIPPED UP!’ said one user.
‘I’m sure Harry said the baby has changed over the last two weeks ! I thought he had only been born a few days ago’, added another fan.
‘Prince Harry said Baby Sussex had changed so much in two weeks. Wasn’t he born like yesterday?’ quipped another.
At the photo call, proud mum Megan seemed to be in awe of her little boy and husband, saying: ‘It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.’
It was announced on Monday that Meghan Markle had given birth Monday at 5.26am GMT. The baby is seventh in line to the throne.
