A paedophile has been jailed for raping a 14-year-old girl and choking her in an abandoned building.
Rudy Norris, 44, pleaded guilty to rape on Monday and was sentenced to 20 years for the violent 2016 attack.
On August 27, 2016, the victim was interviewed at the Children’s Centre in Joplin, Missouri, where she said that Norris has sexually assaulted her at ‘an abandoned structure.’
The Metro reported how the teen said Norris gave her vodka, touch her inappropriately and then raped her, all while pressing his hand on her throat. She said he choked her with such force that she nearly vomited.
Investigators also said he forced the girl into two acts of sodomy.
According to the Joplin Globe, Norris pleaded guilty ahead of his Wednesday trial. He struck a deal with prosecutors who dismissed the three additional counts of statutory rape and statutory sodomy.
Public records start Norris has been arrested over 20 times since 1999.
He has a lengthy criminal past including convictions for assault, stalking, drug possession and driving under the influence offences.
