A thorny relationship between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton is reportedly causing a ‘rift’ between brothers Prince Harry and Prince William.
Rumours from inside the palace claim the two couples are ‘growing apart’ because of their very different approach to royal life.
A close friend of the royal family told The Sun that Kate and Meghan ‘don’t really get on’ and it is pushing Harry and William apart.
News that Meghan and Harry will soon move into Frogmore Cottage, an estate in Windsor, has reportedly aggravated tensions.
‘But there has been a bit of tension between the brothers,’ the source said.
The newly-married couple were initially expected to move into an apartment in Kensington Palace alongside Will and Kate.
But they will instead be living on Windsor Estate, away from the rest of the royal family.
‘The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child,’ a statement from Kensington Palace read.
