The Duchess of Sussex is currently on ‘standby’ for the arrival of the royal baby and has mother Doria Ragland by her side.

While Meghan rested at home last Sunday, Prince Harry, 34, was out and about handing medals to runners at the London marathon.

‘It won’t be long now. Meghan’s really excited. Of course she’s nervous like any first-time mum but she and Harry can’t wait,’ a royal source told The Sun

‘She’s been preparing for the birth – she wants it to be as natural as possible – and so has been practising hypnobirthing and breathing techniques with Harry.’

Meghan reportedly wants to stay in the comfort of her own home for ‘as long as possible’ after going into labour.

‘When she goes into labour, she wants to remain at home for as long as possible but she’s in a situation where if something did go wrong and she had to be whisked to hospital, she would be,’ the source added.

Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, a 30 minute drive from Harry and Meghan’s Windsor home, has been put on standby.

The Duke and Duchess have never publicly confirmed the gender of Baby Sussex, however sources claim Meghan announced she was having a boy during her NYC baby shower.

Royal watchers believe the very first image of their child will be posted to the couple’s joint Instagram account.
