Queen Elizabeth is already doting grandmother to eight and great-grandmother to six adorable tots, and is preparing to add another to that list with the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child next year.
But, Her Majesty won’t be referring to her as “pregnant”, reportedly finding the word “vulgar.”
According to a recently-resurfaced Us Weekly feature, the term is one of Her Majesty’s pet peeves.
The report, which was published when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their first child, Prince George, quotes a Palace source as saying she finds it “vulgar”.
The article states that Her Majesty will be telling people Meghan’s “in the family way”.
How bizarre!
