They may be royalty, but it sounds like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be keeping things quite simple at Frogmore Cottage.
While the couple, who recently became parents to Archie Harrison, could have a whole array of staff waiting on them hand and foot, they’ve opted to have just one person helping them out.
9Honey reported that the show Meghan Markle: Inside the Home of a Princess revealed there will be one housekeeper on hand.
According to the documentary, they’ve decorated Archie’s nursery in a style that nods to both American and British traditions, as well as scenting the room.
Prince Harry and Meghan moved into their home in April, after the cottage underwent a £3 million ($5.4m AUD) makeover.
The renovating also included constructing a granny annex, which is where Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, will stay when she visits from her Los Angeles home.
But despite their humble attempts, royal commentator Victoria Arbiter told 9Honey that she believes the pair will eventually have to hire a nanny.
‘Royal mums often say they don’t want nannies and you can understand why. Like any mother they want to be hands on, they want to be present for all of their baby’s milestones.’
But she added that they will need to ‘bring someone into their home to help,’ stating it will have to be someone ‘that they can rely on and someone that’s discreet enough they can welcome into their home.’
