A supermarket manager in Sydney has gone above and beyond the call of duty for weary customers waiting in long queues to buy their groceries.
Coles Campbelltown manager Vony Fazzino was filmed by one grateful customer as she ensured elderly shoppers had chairs to sit on, gave jackets to those who felt cold, and handed out biscuits to queuing customers.
The video has since gone viral with the hashtag #BeLikeVon.
It comes after weeks of footage showing shoppers arguing, and even coming to blows, as they fight over toilet paper and other rare items amid the coronavirus-inducing spate of panic buying.
With brawls breaking out, and in some case police even being called to sort out scuffles, shoppers are now calling for more kindness and patience as the COVID-19 pandemic affects every facet of Australian life.
Ms Fazzino’s act of kindness unfolded during one of the store’s special hours allowing elderly shoppers to buy their essentials.

“I just noticed that a few of the elderly people waiting in line for toilet paper were shivering,” she told the Macarthur Advertiser.
“I think most people understand that we’re all in this together.
“We all need to be patient and safe, especially now.
“We’ve been through fires, floods, and now this, so we just need to come together in the same way, to get through it together.”
