She was simply waiting outside the school in her car with her baby fast asleep when a disgruntled 50-year-old woman approached her to deliver a harsh note.
The handwritten letter reads: ‘Just a short note to let you know that your air con is very noisy. I do not use mine because it is unhealthy, bad for your lungs & most of all your complexion. Do not feel obliged to turn it down, it is only my opinion about it.’
Talking to Kidspot, the mother said of the incident: 'I thought ‘why is this woman knocking on my window? Is this note a fine or something?''
She didn't even get a chance to respond to the letter as the woman stormed off after handing her the letter.
But the upset mother didn't just stay quiet and yelled out the window to the woman: ‘I have a sleeping baby in the car, so it’s a no.’
Gold Coast Mum blogger, Lauren who is a friend of the unnamed mother shared her opinion on the absurd request: 'Should babies and toddlers (& children, adults and elderly) be forced to sit in sweltering conditions to avoid such a risk to their precious complexion? Ermmmm let’s weigh up the risks shall we…'
