Princess Charlotte was due to return to nursery school on Wednesday 5 September.
The three-year-old – who is the second child born to Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – started at Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington on January 8 2018 and wore a red coat and pink scarf for her first day.
The school’s Autumn term was due to begin on September 5 and reports suggest she will be taught by Mrs Rosa Rego Dias or Mrs Gillian Taylor – teachers who are listed on Willcock Nursery’s website.
Adorable Charlotte is well-known for her cheeky behaviour – and no doubt she’ll be displaying even more of her trademark character as she begins a new term at the school, which is just 12 minutes from her home.
To celebrate Charlotte’s new term, New Idea takes a look back at some of her most memorable moments so far.
Remember Prince Louis’ christening?
Princess Charlotte memorably told photographers they ‘weren’t invited’ to the occasion as she walked past them dressed in a blue dress with blue shoes and a matching bow in her hair.
No doubt the young Royal – like all youngsters – will be displaying some cheeky moments as she starts a new term at school.
Then there was the occasion that she displayed a tender side, as she cuddled up to doting mum Kate Middleton at the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy in Gloucester.
That time, Princess Charlotte – wearing pink – snuggled up to Kate as the pair sat together on the grass.
Then there was the adorable moment young Charlotte waved to the crowds at the wedding of her uncle, Prince Harry.
Charlotte wore pretty white flowers in her hair for Harry’s marriage ceremony to US actress Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle.
Flowers were a recurring theme as Princess Charlotte brought a small bunch to her nose as she arrived at Berlin’s Tegel Airport during an official visit to Poland and Germany in July 2017.
The princess again wore blue for the occasion – once again with a blue bow in her light brown hair.
Who could forget how adorable Charlotte was at the Trooping of the Colour in 2017.
This time, she pulled faces as she looked down from the balcony during the parade at the Mall in June.
Both Charlotte and her brother Prince George seemed fascinated by the display.
One of Princess Charlotte’s cutest moments must surely be the time she was spotted waving along with her mum during a tour of Canada in October 2016.
This time the tot wore red shoes, along with a red cardigan and that trademark bow.
Finally, it’s clear that the young princess had already perfected her wave at a young age.
On June 11 2016 she melted the hearts of people everywhere by waving her tiny hand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace as her great-grandmother the Queen celebrated her 90thbirthday.
