A woman has been arrested after allegedly trying to break into Prince George’s day school, Thomas’ Battersea.
Metropolitan Police have released a public statement stating, ‘The woman was arrested in the vicinity of the school and has been taken to a South London police station where she remains in custody.’
‘We are working with the school, which is attended by His Royal Highness Prince George, to review its security arrangement after the incident,’ the statement continued.
George was in attendance at school yesterday, but it is unknown if he was on site when the incident occurred.
A spokeswoman for the Kensington Palace told CNN that it was ‘aware of the incident’ but wouldn’t comment on security matters.
Prince George has only just started at the prep school and was escorted on his first day by his father, Prince William.
