12 slices white bread
150g tub spreadable chive and onion cream cheese
12 thin slices ham
1 red capsicum
Tomato sauce, to serve
Cut away crusts from bread. Using a rolling pin, roll bread slices until thin.
Spread one slice with about 1 teaspoon cream cheese. Top with a slice of ham. Roll up bread firmly. Repeat with remaining bread, cream cheese and ham.
Using a small sharp knife, mark indentations on rolls for knuckle joints, as pictured. Trim the ends of rolls into a point to form finger tips.
Cut capsicum into small pieces to form nails. Secure nails onto fingertips with a little cream cheese, as pictured. Dip the other ends in tomato sauce (optional).
Serve sandwiches with tomato sauce. Combine 150g chopped dark chocolate in a pan with ¼ cup thickened cream. Stir over a low heat until smooth. Divide among 12 ready-baked tart cases. Decorate with sweets to make eyes and legs. Sprinkle with crushed chocolate biscuits. Chill until required. Makes 12.
