From 12am Tuesday, McDonald’s will be giving away 200,000 cheeseburgers all across Australia to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day and we’re lovin’ it.

Naturally there are catches – customers are limited to one free burger and have to download the mymacca’s app first, while patrons under 14 need to be accompanied by a parent or carer.

But if ever you were looking for a sign to indulge in a cheat meal, this could be your holy grail.

The offer is available while stocks last which mightn’t be long, given the fast-food restaurant recently launched its All Day Menu.

To claim your freebie just open the app, visit the My Rewards section and race to the counter.

But remember to keep your cool after the first bite, otherwise the floodgates might burst open.
