James O'Brien, a British journalist and radio presenter, made a heart-wrenching discovery when he scrolled through his old phone.
He'd given it to his little girl to play games on, but found adorable texts to her late grandfather.
'My youngest has had my old phone for a couple of years,' he shared on Twitter. 'Just for games, which I download for her before disconnecting the internet.
'Still has my old contacts though & it turns out she's been messaging my dad, who died 5 years ago,' he finished.
