Bodybuilder dad waited 9 months for this iron supplement

An Aussie dad has filmed himself eating his daughter's placenta.

Aaron Curtis has shared a video of him cooking and eating his partner's placenta a week after she gave birth to their daughter Illya.

The bodybuilder explained he was eating the placenta because it's rich in protein and iron.

He captioned the video: 'With the birth of my first child I thought I would consume the organ that provided her with life during the pregnancy, in the hope of making some gains.'

Aaron said he thought the placenta tasted like liver and it was a 'bit overdone'.
