A brand of baby teething tablets has been recalled over poison fears.
Hyland's Baby teething tablets and Hyland's Baby nighttime teething tablets were recalled after tests on US samples found inconsistent amounts of belladonna alkaloids in the homeopathic complementary treatment.
Belladonna is also known as deadly nightshade and is extremely toxic.
Parents and carers have been warned to stop using the product and return it to where they bought it for a refund.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration found no issues with batches it sampled in Australia, but distributor Kadac has recalled the tablets as a precaution.
Hyland's Baby teething gel is not affected.
