It turns out it wasn’t either. Chantelle gave birth to a beautiful girl, Eva Rai, two weeks early on the welcome mat at the bottom of the stairs with her daughter helping by bringing towels and water.
Chantelle said she had planned to have a home waterbirth with her mum by her side. But 35 minutes after her contractions started, the baby has arrived.
She said Keira was “mortified” to learn where babies really come from.
‘Until a few weeks ago, she thought they were born through a magic door in my tummy!
‘Now she is besotted with the baby. She loves her little sister – and Keira’s the talk of the school.’
