7 days and 21 ways to get lucky!

Did you know you can create your own luck? Our psychic Lynnette Glory reveals how.

diceDay 1

Lucky you
You create your own luck based on how you think and how you see life. You create what you believe, so you must seize control of your thoughts and see the good in all situations. Give thanks for all you have and make it a daily habit to look for lucky events, no matter how small. Doing this will train your mind to believe that you are lucky and attract more positive events into your life.

  • Recall seven lucky things that happen during the day.
  • Affirm your luck to others often.
  • Be enthusiastic about the luck and success of others.

horse shoe Day 2

The law of luck
You set spiritual forces in motion with every thought, action and word. If you send love out, you get it back. If you send out ill feelings, this is what you will receive. To create luck in your life you need to give with an open heart. This means that you are open to receive luck not from just one source, but as many as you can.

  • Be of service, and reap rewards.

health Day 3

Be open to luck
Be happy - people who are happy attract more luck. Project that something will go wrong and generally it does.

  • Realise that you are the captain of your own life.
  • Let go of worry - decide to be happy right now.

Be friendly
Showing kindness to others opens your heart. Being someone who others like to be around is the key to luck. It's the phone call from a friend saying, 'I have been thinking of you, is there anything I can do to help you?', or the offer of a spare concert ticket and the job hook-up that comes at just the right time.

  • Smile and say hello to a stranger at least once each day.
  • Have a good laugh several times a day.
  • Pay compliments and perform random acts of kindness wherever possible.
  • Be gregarious.

Be active
Lucky people seize their opportunities. The universe is always listening, so don't dismiss things that seem coincidental. Explore the possibility that luck was listening and came knocking.

  • Expect good things to happen to you.
  • Recognise synchronistic events in your life.

Luck loves variety
Luck rarely travels a well-worn track with no room for change. It loves to be discovered on unusual trails. Be inspired to act on impulse. Changing the routine of your day lets you be in the right place at the right time. Lessen your rigidity, try different approaches. In short, change the way you do things. We are all creatures of habit - but that means we always get the same result. When you want luck to step into your life you need to be open to change. Luck can change your life in an instant - so be ready to welcome it with open arms!

  • Be flexible, do things out of the ordinary.
  • Try new experiences, such as going to work a different way.

lucky clover Day 4

Gifts of luck
Lucky people have a resilient attitude. This lets them turn seemingly bad luck into good by focusing on what went right, and how things could've been worse. It also lets them be thankful and look at the positive side of the situation. This helps them learn from experience and not repeat mistakes.

A closed heart blocks luck. When you forgive, you release negative energy that has been holding you hostage to the past. While you don't have to excuse the behaviour, forgive to create peace in your own heart. You become a victor, not the victim.

  • Don't dwell on the past.
  • Look for positives in everything.

nature Day 5

Lucky intuition
Let intuition be your good-luck guide. Lucky people take notice when intuition strikes. They trust what they hear, feel or know is correct and have the faith to take action. Create time for intuitive impulses to surface by calming your mind through relaxation or meditation.

  • Listen to your inner voice.
  • Create quiet time and encourage guidance to come through to you.

nature Day 6

Creating lucky energy in the home
Luck likes to fill up spaces, so clear the clutter. Donate unused items to charity or friends. Display photos of family and friends in your home to remind you that you have love and support in your life. People love to see photos of themselves and this adds to a positive environment. Gifts and children's art create especially good vibes. Display gifts and awards to remind you that you were well-regarded, and lucky to receive them. These can be put out at different times to create that element of changing vibrancy in your home.

  • Be creative.
  • Make your family and friends feel cherished.

lucky pot Day 7

Lucky pot of gold
To enhance your luck, create your own pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

You will need:

  • A pot big enough to hold your plant, soil and your symbols of good luck
  • A small jade plant or other succulent
  • Small pieces of ribbon in these rainbow colours - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet
  • A gold coin

Make your pot with a happy air of optimism and write your wishes on the respective ribbons as follows:

Red - money, lifestyle
Orange - family and social outings, holidays
Yellow - business, career advancement, study
Green - love in all its forms
Blue - health and wellbeing
Indigo - intuition, psychic gifts
Violet - safety and protection

Bury the ribbons and your coin in the soil then place your plant over the top. Then, as your plant grows, so will your luck.

A happy healthy attitude works WONDERS! Act miserable, be miserable. The saying of what you put in you get back is TRUE!

I have been very "unlucky" the last couple of years. I have nothing to loose just a lot to gain so I am going to try this and will let you know how things turned out.
