Summer drinks

These mixer drinks are the perfect addition to a summer party - there's even a mocktail for the kids!

Fruit Punch
Pour 1 litre Golden Circle Sunshine Punch into bowl, add 2 cups each ginger ale and lemonade, 1/4 cup fresh lime juice, sliced fresh strawberries, 2 sliced white peaches, 1 cup chopped pineapple and mint leaves. Add ice and garnish with sliced lime.

Strawberry Blast
Mix 1/4 cup white rum, 2 tablespoons lime juice, 1 tablespoon triple sec or Cointreau, 1/2 teaspoon icing sugar, 1 cup ice cubes and 4 chopped large fresh strawberries in blender. Blend on high for 1 min, strain into a cocktail glass, garnish with strawberry wedge.

Mango Margarita Slushie
Mix 1/2 cup tequila, 1/4 cup each triple sec and lime juice, flesh of 1 small mango, 1 cup ice cubes and 1/2 cup mango nectar in blender. Blend until ice is crushed and slushy. Pour into a chilled margarita glass. Perfect as a pre-dinner drink.

Cosmopolitan Cocktail
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add 1/2 cup vodka, 2 tablespoons each Cointreau and cranberry juice and 2 teaspoons lime juice. Shake vigorously, then strain into a chilled V-shaped cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lime.

Mix 2 tablespoons each white rum, Malibu and Midori, 3/4 cup pineapple juice, 2 tablespoons cream and 1 cup chopped honeydew melon in blender. Blend till combined. Pour into glasses with ice, add honeydew wedges. Try with prosciutto, melon, oysters and prawns.
