What are the benefits of becoming a member of the Gold Club?

How can I join the Gold Club?

Visit www.thatslife.com.au/Registration-create.asp and enter your details (note: all fields marked with an * are mandatory) and click on submit.

Once you have registered, an email containing your Gold Club membership number and your online password will automatically be sent to you. You should receive this email within 24 hours of joining the Gold Club.

I didn't receive a welcome email (containing my member number) after I joined the Gold Club - what do I do?

Check your junk emails and spam folder to make sure that your Gold Club welcome email did not get caught in your email filters.

If you can't find your email, you can find your membership number online, by entering your email address and password. Visit www.thatslife.com.au and log on to the Gold Club section of the website. If you are able to log on successfully, this means that your Gold Club membership has been processed.

Once you've logged in, you'll be able to view your membership number, by clicking on the 'Edit my Details' button on the Gold Club tile. This will bring up a copy of your records, including your Gold Club membership number.

If you've tried all of this and are still having difficulties logging into the site as a Gold Club member, please send an email to GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au. Make sure that you include your full name and address in your email. Alternatively, you can call the office on 1800 181 777.

I don't have an email address - can I still register as a Gold Club member?

You can still register as a Gold Club, even if you don't have an email address - please call the that's life! office on 1800 181 777.

I'm trying to register as a member of the Gold Club, but I received an error message that says my password is invalid - what does this mean?

Below is a list of the error messages that you may receive if this information is not entered correctly:

'Error: Password must contain at least six characters!'

This message means that the password you entered is not long enough. All Gold Club passwords must be between 6-8 characters and can contain a combination of letters and numbers. This must be corrected in order for your Gold Club application to be completed.

'Error: Password must contain at least six characters and a maximum of eight characters.'

This message means that the password you entered is too long. All Gold Club passwords must be between 6-8 characters and can contain a combination of letters and numbers. This must be corrected in order for your Gold Club application to be completed.

'Your password does not match, please re-enter your password.'

When registering, you will need to enter your password in twice for verification purposes. This message means that the password you have entered into the 'Password' and 'Re-Enter Password' fields do not exactly match. This must be corrected in order for your Gold Club application to be completed.

What happens if I opt-in to receive newsletters and special offers from that's life! magazine?

This means that you will receive email communications from that's life! magazine, containing information about the magazine and our competitions. From time to time, we might also send you special offers and promotions from our sponsors that we think you might be interested in.

I've been trying to join the Gold Club but the online form won't allow me to sign-up. The error message is 'The Email is already in use. Please specify another Username' - what can I do?

This means that you've already used your email address to register as a member of the Gold Club - you cannot join the Gold Club more than once.

I'm a Gold Club member - how do I log in to the that's life! website?

Visit www.thatslife.com.au/login.asp and enter your email address and Gold Club password. If you've logged in correctly, the Gold Club tile will change to look as follows:

Once logged in, you'll be able to view and update your Gold Club membership details, access the forums, leave comments and submit your story online for consideration.

I'm having trouble logging in to the that's life! website as a Gold Club member - what do I do?

There could be a few reasons for this:

  1. You have typed the wrong password. Make sure that you've typed your password in correctly. Please note that passwords are case-sensitive.
  2. You have typed the wrong email address. The email address that you use to log in must match the email that is stored on the Gold Club database (generally, this is the email address that you used when you first registered to join the Gold Club). Even if you no longer use this email address, you must enter it to log in to the website as a Gold Club member. Once you've logged in, you can edit your details to update your membership details to include your new email address, which you can use to log in at a later date.
  3. You don't have a Gold Club account. Please email us at GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au call the that's life! office on 1800 181 777 so that we can check your membership on our database. Make sure that you include your full name and address in your email.

I've forgotten my Gold Club password, how can I find this information?

Click on the 'Log In' button in the Gold Club tile on the right navigation. Click on the link that says 'Click here to recover your password' and enter the email address that you used when you first joined the Gold Club. Your password will then be sent to this email address.

If you do not receive this email, check your junk emails and spam folder to make sure that it did not get caught in your email filters. If you cannot find the email, call the that's life! office on 1800 181 777 or email us at GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au. Make sure that you include your full name and address in your email.

I've lost my Gold Club member card - how do I get a new card?

Unfortunately, we no longer print Gold Club membership cards. You can find your membership number online after logging in as a Gold Club member. Once you have logged in, click on the 'Edit my Details' button on the Gold Club tile and this will bring up a copy of your records, including your Gold Club membership number.

I don't know what my Gold Club membership number is?

I was selected as a winner in a Gold Club promotion - how do I claim my prize?

Gold Club members do not have to claim their prizes. Instead they will be automatically sent to the winners at the address registered on the Gold Club membership database. Please allow approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery.

I was selected as a Gold Club winner but have not received my prize?

Please send an email containing your full name, address, Gold Club membership number and the details of the prize that you won to GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au. Alternatively, you can call the office on 1800 181 777.

I won a Gold Club prize but have realised that the address that you have on file is incorrect - what do I do?

Please send an email to GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au. Make sure that you include your full name, Gold Club member number and your new contact details. Please be aware that our warehouse automatically send Gold Club prizes out to the winners each week and that your prize may have already been dispatched to the address that we have on file. If this occurs, and the prize is returned to us, we will send it out to your new address.

How do I cancel my Gold Club membership?

Please send an email to GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au asking us to cancel your Gold Club membership. Make sure that you include your full name and Gold Club membership number in your email. Alternatively, you can call the office on 1800 181 777.

I still want to be a Gold Club member, but I no longer want to receive regular email communications from that's life! magazine - how can I opt out?

Visit www.thatslife.com.au/login.asp and enter your email address and Gold Club password in order to log in to the website. If you've logged in correctly, the Gold Club tile will change to look as follows:

Click on the 'Edit your details' button to view your membership details and change the 'I would like to receive newsletters and special offers from that's life!' line to be NO.

If you are having difficulties unsubscribing please send an email to GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au asking us to unsubscribe you from the regular Gold Club email communications. Make sure that you include your full name and Gold Club membership number in your email. Alternatively, you can contact the office on 1800 181 777.

I'm a Gold Club member - how can I update my details?

Visit www.thatslife.com.au/login.asp and enter your email address and Gold Club password in order to log in to the website. If you've logged in correctly, the Gold Club tile will change to look as follows:

Click on the 'Edit your details' button to view the membership details that we currently have on file. Click on 'Edit my Details', change your information and click on the 'Submit' button. Please note that your password will automatically be deleted when you are editing your details and will have to be re-entered before your file can be updated.

It is important to keep your membership details up to date to ensure that you receive the full range of Gold Club benefits.

If you are having difficulties updating your details, please send an email containing your full name, Gold Club membership number and your new contact details to GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au. Alternatively, you can call the office on 1800 181 777 and ask for your Gold Club account to be updated.

I'm a Gold Club member - what does it mean to update my details?

When you registered as a Gold Club member, you gave us your address, phone number and email address, which we stored on the Gold Club database. If your contact information changes, it is important to update these details to ensure that you receive the full range of Gold Club benefits.

Alternatively, you may need to update your details if you want to change your online forum screen name or password.

I'm a Gold Club member but have missed the latest issue of the magazine - is there any way to check my records to see if I've won a prize?

No - unfortunately, we are unable to check this. If you are selected as a winner in a Gold Club promotion, our warehouse will automatically send your prize out to you in the mail.

I'm a Gold Club member - do I have to check the magazine each week to see if I've won a Gold Club prize?

Although our warehouse automatically sends the prizes out to the Gold Club winners, it is always a good idea to check that's life! magazine each week to see if you've been selected as a winner. From time to time, prizes can go missing and unfortunately, we have no way of knowing this unless a winner contacts us to let us know that the prize they were expecting never arrived.

My question is not answered here - what do I do?

Please send an email to GoldClub@pacificmags.com.au and we will do our best to assist you. Make sure that you include your full name, proper email address and a brief description of the problem.
